# Radtel RT-880G

### General information

The Radtel RT-880G is a compact dual-band handheld transceiver aimed at radio amateurs who want a straightforward, reliable handheld radio.
It offers solid receiver sensitivity, clear audio, and practical features for everyday repeater and simplex use.
With a clear display, simple menu system, and durable build, the RT-880G is well suited for newcomers as well as experienced operators looking for an affordable, no-nonsense portable radio.
It is one of the few handheld radio's that support RX on shortwave and transmitting on the 10 m band.
The G variant has GPS and APRS functionality.
